As a concept Home Exchange is becoming increasingly popular and
now there are many very successful commercial programs in different
parts of the world, perhaps to some extent due to the release in
2006 of the entertaining movie The Holiday.
The RI Home Exchange Fellowship has been in operation for
almost thirty years during which time we have had over five thousand
Rotarians who have participated.
While we continue to promote the Home Exchange Fellowship by
contacting individual Rotary Districts every year it is nevertheless
the case that most Rotarians are quite unfamiliar with this
particular Rotary Fellowship.
