What is Annual Giving ?

Annual Giving is a tradition of Giving each year by clubs and Rotarians to The Rotary Foundation.

Annual giving is the cornerstone of The Rotary Foundation's funding efforts. It is called "annual" because:

  1. Unrestricted contributions to the Foundation's Annual Programs Fund are made each year, and
  2. Contributions are spent directly on all of the Foundation's International humanitarian, educational and cultural programs.

What do your contributions buy ?

$100 will pay for:

bullet
Tuition and books for one year for secondary school education for two children in Kenya.
bullet
Four new wells for rural villages in Zambia.
bullet
A hearing aid for a deaf child in Pakistan.
bullet
Three cataract eye operations in India
bullet
Mosquito netting for 35 homes to help prevent malaria in Bangladesh
bullet
Food to improve nutritional levels of 20 severely undernourished children in the Philipines

$500 will buy:

bullet
12 prosthetic limbs for Thai people
bullet
A watch repair mini-business for disabled workers in the Philipines.
bullet
Carpentry tools for a vocational workshop training 150 deaf children in the Gambia.

Yes! And we get back our fair share of Foundation funds for projects right here in Southern Africa. Invest in the Foundation and reap the rewards.
